1. The XXV International Choral Festival of Medellín "José María Bravo Márquez" - 2026 is a non-competitive event and is open to choirs of all categories from different countries. Its central objective is to share experiences, repertoire, and artistic results of each participating group, to contribute to the strengthening of choral activity.
2. The Twenty-Fifth International Choral Festival of Medellín "José María Bravo Márquez" will take place from September 9 to 13, 2026, in Medellín, the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley, and municipalities of the Department of Antioquia.
3. The concerts are free and open to the public.
1. Choirs aspiring to participate must submit the following documents to the Festival's Evaluation Commission before February 5, 2026 (via form):
2. The Evaluation Commission will communicate its decision to the accepted choirs on March 15, 2026.
1. The Festival organization will cover the stay of visiting choirs from September 8 at 6:00 p.m. until September 14 at 9:00 a.m..

3. The repertoire is of free choice, but must include at least two works from their country or city of origin and one work by a Colombian composer.
4. The choirs designated by the Festival's Evaluation Commission will participate in the Closing Gala. They will be sent the sheet music for the works to be performed in the final sing-along, which will also have general rehearsals during the Festival.
5. Participating choirs will receive their activity schedule from the moment of their accreditation at the Festival.
6. All groups from other cities in the country or abroad will offer one concert daily in different venues across the city.
7. Choirs authorize their concerts to be recorded and/or transmitted by radio and/or TV. Furthermore, they waive the right to receive any value for interpretation and image rights.
8. All members of the participating choirs must comply with the provisions established by the Organizing Commission regarding the program, transportation, schedules, and lodging.
9. Choirs may not participate in activities (choral or artistic) carried out outside the established program unless expressly authorized by the Organizing Commission.
10. Any expense not covered in this call will be borne by each choir or member.
11. Insurance. Choir members must travel with their accident and medical attention insurance. The Festival will NOT be responsible in case of accidents or illnesses.
1. Choirs will be lodged, exclusively, in the hotels determined by the Festival, in double, triple, or quadruple rooms.
2. The conductor of the participating choir will have the right to stay in a single room.
3. The meal covered by the Festival will be only breakfast, at the designated locations. The choir must be responsible for other meals.
4. The Festival covers the cost of lodging and transportation for Festival events for a maximum of 16 choir members plus the conductor (17 people).
5. The transportation of the participating groups and their conductors from their city of origin to the Festival host city, and their respective return, will be the responsibility of each choir.
6. Foreign choirs or those from other Colombian cities will have transfer service from the airport to the city and vice-versa, free of charge. If members arrive on different flights, the Festival will only assume the airport-hotel transfer for the larger group.
7. All transportation motivated by the scheduled concerts will be covered by the Festival.
Note: Expenses for social and tourist activities will be borne by each choir.
